Denzil Pub

One of my favorite albums of all time is from an English band named Denzil that released only one album in 1994 (Pub) and then disappeared entirely. The other day I was listening to Pub, and I was stricken with the curiosity to find out what ever happened to Denzil. I found everything I needed to know, but in the strangest way.

Seems that a few years ago, long after Denzil had evaporated, the frontman himself posted to the Amazon.com user reviews of his album with the story of what happened to the band. It's fascinating and tragic to see such a great musician reduced to recanting his sad story on a web storefront where his fans are wondering aloud what happened to him.
